Local News

  • Vice Burger is at risk of closing! They are hoping to keep their doors open by rallying the community for more foot traffic.

  • Pizza Verde is also determining whether to keep their doors open due to weekday sales slump. They have recently posted appreciation from the community for recent support and meetups.

  • Pizza Verde, to expand their sales, will be selling their frozen pizzas now at Reverie Bakeshop and another Dallas location TBA soon!

  • Maiden is the third business this month to let us know of their financial circumstances and bids the public for support as well.

  • Dreamboat Donuts has downsized and has now moved into the Spiral Diner building.

  • N.D.A. Cuisine has announced a farewell to their business which operated as a ghost kitchen in Farmers Branch. They will continue to be available for catering.

  • Bam’s Vegan is opening a new place in April. Keep supporting them while they are temporarily at the Dallas Farmers Market until then!

  • Compatible Delights in Fort Worth is going old school and blowing off the dust on their food truck. They will be mobile throughout this summer! So keep an eye out on their pop-up locations.

  • Though not local but will affect some of us: Meati had their funding pulled unexpectedly by a lender and are at shutting down operation and laying off their workforce if they don't find new funding soon. You can read more here on VegNews.
